The outstanding PBI firefighter glove Zeus PBI 5F offers full PBI protection on the back and palm. It convinces with best heat and flame resistance as well as a high degree of freedom of movement. The even more durable PBI LP fibre in the backhand and palm offer the highest thermal protection and wearing comfort and make the glove extremely lightweight. PBI LP is a revolutionary new PBI fibre that maximises flame and burst protection in lightweight outer shells.The anatomical, fire-resistant knuckle protector provides absolute impact and shock protection. It also protects the back of the hand from heat exposure and injury. The abrasion-resistant PBI Gold palm with PROmarble coating offers maximum protection and grip, even on slippery and wet surfaces. A PBI Gold reinforcement has been added to the crook of the thumb, which is the first point of attack when extinguishing an internal attack, so this additional protector provides double protection. The flame-resistant cut protection lining made of Kevlar®/Inox/LCP protects the firefighter from sharp objects and sharp edges (performance level 5F). Thanks to the GORE-TEX CROSSTECH® Grip insert, the Zeus PBI 5F protects against wetness, chemicals, oil, petrol, blood and viruses – while offering maximum breathability. The insertion of the lining, the fixation of the insert and the connection with the outer shell are carried out according to the proven process patented by ESKA to permanently prevent unwanted pulling out of the lining. The 2-belt system allows the glove to be ideally fixed when worn over the jacket. All maximum mechanical and thermal values are certified both when new and after a pre-treatment of 20 washes at 60° C. The anatomical, layered 3D cut is adapted to the natural posture of the hand to guarantee the best possible fit and freedom of movement. Thanks to the grip grooves attached to the finger tips, you have a special sensitivity and the best grip.
