Fire Scout Plus

Long firefighting glove with Porelle membrane
The permanently waterproof Porelle textile firefighting glove Fire Scout Plus offers high flame resistance and high-performance protection against cuts thanks to the cut protection lining (highest performance level 5F). All mechanical and thermal maximum values were achieved both when new and after a pre-treatment of 20 washes at 60° C.

The waterproof textile firefighting glove LBK by Eska Fire Scout Plus is characterized by its excellent dexterity and maximum protective properties. The high-quality, fire-resistant outer fabric offers high flame resistance, while the knuckle protection with piping made of reflective material ensures high abrasion and heat protection while maintaining good visibility. The palm made of Nomex®/Kevlar® with PROmarble coating (granite-silicone-carbon) offers maximum protection and grip on slippery & wet surfaces as well as maximum abrasion resistance. Thanks to the revolutionary, multi-layer cut protection lining, the Fire Scout offers high-performance protection against cuts (palm and backhand: performance level 5F) and sharp edges. The sophisticated, width-adjustable 1-belt system serves as a perfect fastening over the jacket (18092/BP Fire Scout Plus, long cuff) or under the jacket (18082/BP Fire Scout-C Plus, knitted cuff). All mechanical and thermal maximum values were achieved both when new and after a pre-treatment of 20 washes at 60° C. The inner lining, the fixation of the insert and the connection to the outer shell are made using the tried and tested ESKA patented process to permanently prevent the lining from being pulled out. The anatomical, layered 3D cut is adapted to the natural posture of the hand to guarantee the best possible fit and freedom of movement. We rely exclusively on European materials that are subject to strict quality control in Austria. The firefighting glove is available in the colors red and black with a long cuff (Fire Scout model) or with a knitted cuff (Fire Scout-C model).

Where does the name LBK for our Basic line come from?
Over 50 years ago, the two master glove makers Loos Paul and Bolvari Josef founded a manufactory for street gloves in Hungary. “LBK” emerged from the largest national leather and fur trading company (founded in 1948) based in Budapest. Ski and work gloves were now also produced for an Austrian company in a branch on Lake Balaton. From 1989, with the fall of the Iron Curtain, this was continued independently – with a focus on firefighting and military gloves; the now modern production facility guarantees the quality of a globally renowned glove brand.
