The leather firefighter glove Super Mars 5F combines highest protective features with high sensitivity. The robust and soft Fire Block leather provides maximum flame and water resistance and has no shrinkage, even at the highest temperatures (0% according to ISO 17493/EN 659, although maximum 5% are permitted). The coated Kevlar® knuckle protection offers additional abrasion and heat protection. The Kevlar® reinforcement with PROmarble coating in the palm provides additional protection. Due to the revolutionary, multilayered cut-resistant lining made of Kevlar®/Inox/LCP, Super Mars 5F boasts high performance protection against cuts and sharp edges. The GORE-TEX insert protects against water and wind, with the highest breathability at the same time. The sophisticated, adjustable single-strap system is used to ensure secure fixing, which enables the glove to be worn over a jacket (Super Mars 5F, long cuff) or under a jacket (Super Mars-E 5F, knitted cuff). All mechanical and thermal maximum values were achieved both in a new condition and after pretreatment consisting of 20 washes at 30 °C. The inner lining is incorporated and the insert is attached and connected to the outer shell in line with the proven method patented by ESKA in order to permanently prevent the lining from being inadvertently pulled out. The anatomical, layered 3D cut is adjusted to the natural posture of our hands, to guarantee the best possible fit and freedom of movement. We use only European materials, which undergo strict quality control in Austria. The gloves for firefighters are available in versions with a long cuff (Super Mars 5F model) or with a 100% Kevlar® knitted cuff (Super Mars-E 5F model).
